At the airport

Why not start your holiday the way you mean to go on. Why hang around the crowded coffee bars trying to make yourself comfortable on a hard plastic seat while hanging round the airport waiting for your flight. There is another world nearby, you know, the world of the airport lounge.

Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class passengers have an efficient and friendly dedicated Upper Class check in area with express hand baggage check in also available at a number of airports, as is Fast Track passport and immigration channels. You can then head straight to the Clubhouse.

At Gatwick

V ROOM

If you're flying from Gatwick, Virgin Holidays has a dedicated lounge - the V ROOM.

The V ROOM is:

V quiet - there's an area set aside where you can sit in a comfortable chair and read the paper in peace, surf the internet or just watch the goings-on at the airport through floor-to-ceiling windows
V family friendly - the kids can play in safety in this dedicated space with exciting games and telescopes which look out over the excitement of the runways
V fun - for bigger kids of all ages you can play video games on a big screen TV, watch films and cartoons or head onto the internet.
V tasty - a café offers hot and cold food, soft drinks and a decent cup of coffee. Alcoholic drinks are also available at the bar.

The V ROOM would like to extend a complimentary invite to all Virgin Holidays Hip Hotels clients departing from London Gatwick South Terminal on any airline. (Opening times are 6.30 - 13.00 daily.) To take up this offer please arrange with your Travel Guru.

Terms & Conditions

The V ROOM by Virgin Holidays is a new lounge facility for our customers flying from Gatwick (including VAA flights to Las Vegas and The Caribbean.

It is available for use for up to 3 hours prior to scheduled flight departure and is only applicable to Virgin Holidays customers. V ROOM availability is subject to availability.

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse

The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse offers you an oasis of calm and luxury at the airport. Enter and you're in a world of relaxation and pampering, where you can get a massage, a manicure or a haircut, select a meal from a mouth watering menu or have a drink at the bar. It also offers full business facilities and quiet havens to relax in.

You can pre-book for £35 per person (minimum age 12). Just contact your Travel Guru to make the arrangements.

Executive Lounges

Other lounges are available at Gatwick, operated by Servisair/GlobeGround, offering a space where you can relax with a drink before your flight.

At Heathrow

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse

Heathrow offers Virgin Atlantic's flagship Clubhouse, designed to give the feel of a private member's club. Iut offers a Deli and Brasserie as well as a long Cocktail Bar. You can get a facial, manicure, pedicure, massage or shave at Cowshed at the Clubhouse, get a new haircut at Bumble and bumble, or simply chill out by the Japanese waterfall in the Poolside Lounge.
