The Whole Story

The Bulgari Resort Bali in Uluwatu has set the new benchmark for charismatic luxury. Perched on a cliff, with a canyon-like rock face that plummets perfectly vertically to the turquoise blue of the Indian Ocean below, it is by far the most dramatic location in Bali, if not in all of Asia.
The first resort after their first hotel’s successful launch in Milan for the ultra upmarket Italian jeweller, Bulgari work on the concept that they have decades of experience with the world of the super demanding i.e. they know real luxury better than anyone, and that is what they have put into practice here in Bali.
The view and the location is a good start – if you’re going to charge big you have to impress big. Bulgari Resort Bali’s location is the hotel’s bling. But it also has to be in good taste, and that is where the unique combination of the Italian designer Antonio Citterio, with Balinese texture and tradition, makes such a stylish impression. But it is also about the food. Bulgari is a company based in Rome, and Romans know how to eat.
