Located bang on the beach, this satellite of the famous London restaurant serves a metropolitan version of Italian dishes, with an emphasis on seafood and is regarded by many as better than the original.
With only 34 suites, the proprietor chose the name to suggest the ambience of renting a villa as opposed to staying in a hotel. Only, in this adults-only villa, they serve up complimentary Champagne breakfasts, afternoon tea, evening canapés and a 30 minute jet-lag massage. Ambassadors (The Houses' version of a hotel butler) are ever-present to cater to guests' every whim! Let your Ambassador organise your arrival massage, a round of golf at nearby Sandy Lane, spa treatments in a beachside cabana or next door at the sister property, Tamarind or try your hand at the complimentary water sports. This fabulous service extends down to the beach and The Deck with complimentary afternoon tea and Daphne's all-day dining menu available to order.
The rooms
All 34 suites have recently been refurbished with custom-made wooden furniture, French doors, graciously appointed baths that feature exquisite rain showers and body jets.
Junior and 1-Bedroom suites spread over 3 floors, each providing contemporary simplicity and comfort with your choice of ocean or tropical garden views. With either 1 king-size bed or 2 doubles all suites sleep max 2 adults, with air-conditioning, flat screen satellite TV, iPod dock, aromatherapy candles, bathrobes and luxury linens.
Gardenview Junior Suites have a private balcony or patio with views of the gardens or pool area.
