Round Hill is where Jacqueline and JFK spent their honeymoon, where Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote the Sound of Music, where Hitchcock got sunburned and where Noel Coward, if egged on enough, would sing for the guests. After 50 years, Round Hill has a million stories to tell. The place today offers the same blend of qualities that has always pulled the famous names and faces; namely a well-preserved slice of old Jamaica and tremendous hospitality. Today you still enjoy the plantation’s stylish architecture and a predictably colonial pace of life, but with the added pull of an oceanfront spa, an exceptional family program and refurbished hotel rooms designed for beach living by Ralph Lauren, (perhaps whilst visiting his own villa at Round Hill). The new restaurant perfectly blends the hotel’s historic pedigree with its new energy; classic décor with an open kitchen and wood fired grill – perfect for fresh seafood or Niman farm steaks.
The rooms
Each of the 36 oceanfront rooms within the Pineapple House evoke beach living with white stone floors, four poster mahogany bamboo beds, Ralph Lauren designed upholstered furniture, bathrooms with soaking tub, rain showers and wet bar. Rooms sleep 2 adults and a third adult or child.
Top floor rooms have cathedral ceilings and large louvered windows to take in the panoramic views.
Room upgrades:
Oceanview Patio rooms are on the lower floors in the Pineapple House enjoy a balcony or patio for relaxing in the breeze.
Villas and Suites
The remainder of the accommodation dotted throughout the rolling hills of this beautiful estate is made up of a collection of 27 privately owned villas with very individual styles. The villas have been divided into Suites that can be rented on a shared basis or each can be rented privately as a whole villa. Every suite sleeps 2 adults plus a 3rd adult or child with one air conditioned bedroom, bathroom and outdoor living area or verandah.
Classic Villa Suites have original Round Hill interiors and are approx 1000 sq ft, some with a pool (shared with the other suites in that villa). Deluxe Villa Suites are larger with separate living area and all have custom designed pools. Master Villa Suites and Grand Pineapple Suites are the largest, up to 2000 sq ft.
Whole villas can be rented with 2 bedrooms to sleep 4 - Classic, Classic with pool and Luxury categories are available. 3 bedroom villas are deluxe or luxury all with pool sleeping 6: 4 bedroom villas are available all with pool in Classic, Deluxe and Luxury. For larger groups or wedding parties 5 and 6 bedroom villas are available.

Don’t miss the beauty of clear blue Caribbean Sea close up - head to the water sports Gazebo for snorkelling right off the beach, sailing, kayaking and glass bottom boats.
Alternatively, you can just enjoy the view from the double infinity pool or the beach bar.
The 10 acre oceanfront spa is already legendary and we would not go without a Pineapple scrub and the hangover massage!
