You absolutely must…

Must Eat
Unless you are staying more than a week you will only just have time to sample the Mira’s variety of restaurants. If however you absolutely have to leave the building the best kept culinary secret in this part of town is the dim sum restaurant at the end of the lower ground floor arcade of the nearby Holiday Inn. It is one of the best places in Hong Kong for yum cha

Must Shop
The arcade leading to the previously mentioned dim sum restaurant is entirely occupied by very high quality second hand watch shops. It is a retail experience unique to Hong Kong and only fanatic watch aficionados know about it.

Must Visit
If you admire institutions then wander down Nathan Road and join the queue for afternoon tea at the peninsula. It’s a worthwhile tradition and a charmingly timeless relic from colonial days in Hong Kong

About The Mira Hotel

    • There is a room for every contemporary taste and aesthetic

The Whole Story

A hip haven for urban hedonists in the heart of pulsating Tsimshatsui.

If you are a person who likes quality and attention to detail in design, and in food then the Mira will appeal. It is made for contemporary hedonists. With three restaurants, a private club, an outdoor lounge and a signature café, the Mira is a city hotel experience that doesn’t hold back.

MiraSpa is the city’s newest luxury urban spa, housing 18,000 square-feet of 21st century wellness facilities, including an indoor infinity-edge pool and ultra modern fitness centre.

The idea of The Mira was to create a sophisticated urban hotel that would tick all the boxes. It has enough suites in the room categories to satisfy any need or taste, and enough rooms (almost 500) to accommodate even on short notice. It also has all the facilities a guest could want and more, and when you walk out the door you are in one of the busiest and most dynamic areas of the city.
Bang on Nathan Road, The Mira is in the very heart of Tsinshatsui, one of the most vibrant and distinct areas of Hong Kong.

This is the place to be if you are looking for a tailor, a custom jeweller, vinyl records, or second hand watches to name just a few. Certainly a lot more interesting and a lot more affordable than an upmarket label designer shopping mall.

The Rooms

With 492 guestrooms, including 56 suites the Mira has so many options in terms of room category that you can virtually design your own stay. There is a room for every contemporary taste and aesthetic. The thing they all have in common from the smallest rooms to the biggest suites is quality. From the equipment – 40 inch Sony flat screen TVs, Bose sound systems – to the cleverly designed master lighting switches, to the open plan, loft like marble bathrooms, to the polished wooden floor, and even the Arne Jacobson designed Egg chair which is featured in each room, The Mira has not cut any corners.
