The Whole Story
These are the Seychelles, tiny tropical packages of green water, blue sky, white sand, verdant jungle and they intend to make North Island authentic with a capital A.
North Island wasn't so much created as nurtured – gently coaxed to maturity with an inordinate amount of attention. The eleven guest villas, each with a roof of traditional alang alang thatch, were built by a team of craftsmen from Africa, Zanzibar, Bali and the Seychelles. More thought went into the doorhandles here than most hotel projects get in total.
The whole North Island experience was designed to be exactly that – an experience, its purpose is to reconnect us with the tides, the elements, the sun, the moon, the joy of eating on a beach under the stars or swimming by moonlight as white-tipped sharks circle about, It's an experience designed to strike a primal chord.
The Rooms
There are only 11 villas on North Island, each designed with privacy and space in mind – havens of exclusivity. Each villa is individually crafted by Seychellois or African craftsmen, and boasts two spacious bedrooms and uninterrupted views of the pristine lawns and turquoise ocean beyond. Each villa also has satellite TV, Bose music systems with iPod connection, wireless internet access and a private plunge pool for those lazy days spent doing exactly as you choose!
