the bar
The W Boston decided to make its bar different – in the most direct and architectural way, i.e. by removing the walls. The bar is in the Lounge - privacy, if you want it, is by way of conversation pits, and for those who insist in cosy – there is a fireplace.

The view from the W is un-reservedly urban. Especially at night the skyline of the city frames the rooms like a giant cinema screen.

You absolutely must…

Must Eat:
When in Boston, you have to try their locally created Cream Pie-a sinful vanilla cake packed with yellow custard or fluffy cream and topped with luscious chocolate icing…need we say more?

Must Shop:
Especially for first time visitors to Boston, the Faneuil Hall Marketplace is the most logical destination for finding something unique and distinct to this neck of the woods.

Must Visit:
If you’re in this area and you have a day or two spare, then it’s a golden opportunity to go to Nantucket, a beautiful windswept island, which has somehow managed to preserve its character and integrity despite its popularity.

About W Boston

    • Unapologetically urban, but a great location from which to follow the Freedom trail and capture the city’s highlights.
    • The quality of a Jean-George restaurant in-house.
    • A fun, modern option in the heart of the city with the historic park across the road for those early morning jet-lag beating strolls.

The Whole Story

Boston is known for its pubs, the long running Cheers was set in one, and in Ally McBeal the law practise had their own pub downstairs. The city is also known for its immigrants, the Irish, the Italians, and the Chinese – and the food and drink culture they have brought with them. It has never been a city known for its hotels. The W Boston brings some welcome alternatives to the more predictable and rather conservative choices in overnight stays.
