You absolutely must…
Must Eat:
Like the famous river café in London’s Hammersmith, Quattro is an ingredient driven dining experience but if you’re staying more than a few nights it would be a shame not to experience the many restaurant options that exist in SoHo and surroundings. The Kitchen at the Mercer and Cipriani on 376 West Broadway are two of the best.
Must Shop:
Since retail is the new game in SoHo, why fight it? Take the opportunity to visit the kind of shops you don’t find elsewhere in the United States. Places like Jack Spade on 56 Greene Street, New York’s answer to Paul Smith.

Brainy architect Rem Koolhaas’s ground breaking design for Prada on 575 Broadway.

The Whole Story
When you think of SoHo, you think cool, matte black, lofts and lattes; and when you think of Trump, you think big and bling. So no surprise then that Trump SoHo is a luxurious blend of the two.
Once a commercial area distinguished by elegant warehouses sporting neo-classical refinement and detailing, SoHo can lay claim to the invention of the word loft. Today the lofts are as expensive as apartments on the Upper East Side and the artists have long since gone but there’s a creative contemporary thinking that ear marks the area and a sophisticated urban lifestyle that combines eating and shopping with a bit of edge. SoHo Trump is actually on the edge of SoHo on Spring Street where SoHo meets TriBeCa, a bit of a bonus considering Robert DeNiro’s favourite stomping ground is also at your doorstep.
Trump SoHo is big by SoHo standards. It’s a 46 story block of glass with 391 guestrooms. Three words distinguish the Trump SoHo rooms. Space. Glass. And Fendi. An average of 500 square feet guestrooms offer a lot of space, especially for New York and the glass relates to fact that all the rooms have floor to ceiling windows. They are also the first rooms in Manhattan to have been furnished by Fendi better known for handbags and fur coats. The most appropriate soundbite for these interiors would be: soft, sophisticated elegance.
Trump SoHo has three bars. Bar d’Eau as the name suggests is on the water. i.e. by the swimming pool and on the hotel’s 6000 square foot pool deck. The Library overlooking the hotel’s lobby but divided by a wall of glass houses a whole load of art and design books and a fireplace creates an intimate setting for drinks. The third bar is a cocktail lounge with mixologists that are popular enough for entry after 10 pm by guest list only.
If you have a Fendi interior you have to have an Italian restaurant. Quattro Gastronomia not surprisingly features authentic Northern Italian cuisine.
